 The Great Escape
The Great Escape (May 15 - 17) is Brighton’s three-day venue which plays host to the best up-and-coming bands as well as the odd big name bands in venues across the city.
For £35 it’s a cheap weekend festival, just make sure you queue early on the night as the thousands of festival-goes usually end up trying to get into the same gig. Wrap up warm too because
Brighton weather is unforgiving in May and you will spend many of your festival hours waiting to get into venues.
Last year the Gossip played a secret gig and Willy Mason played to the crowds waiting outside the Corn Exchange.
