Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint is rumoured to be on his way to Bournemouth University.
Name your top three ginger celebrities. Now name your bottom three. Chances are that Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is in one of those lists, and from September you could find yourself in the queue for the Old Fire Station, lounging in Dylan’s or working out in the gym alongside ‘Ron Weasley’ himself.
According to one student website, Mr Grint is thought to be enrolling onto an Environmental Studies course at Bournemouth University this September. His management company this week refused to confirm or deny the rumours, but hinted: “We aren’t able to say anything until we have spoken to Rupert.”
If the 19-year-old were to join the university, it would double the current celebrity undergraduates club, whose sole member is doe-eyed Shipwrecked heart-throb Joe Stone.
Mr Grint, who has starred in all five previous Harry Potter films, may find it difficult to combine studies and a social life given that he is due to appear in remaining Potter films.
